GRTC plans service enhancements beginning Oct. 20

Service enhancements are coming to five Greater Richmond Transit Company routes and two microtransit service areas, organization officials announced Oct. 2. The changes will take effect Oct. 20, aiming to enhance connectivity and service reliability. The most significant change involves a major extension of Route 1 to serve the Virginia Center area. This extension will provide service every 30 minutes from downtown Richmond to Virginia Center via Reynolds Community College.
