A man posing as a love interest is accused of swindling thousands of dollars from women he met on dating sites, according to the Hanover County Sheriff’s Office. The suspect, Nicholas Lauser, allegedly meets women using dating websites and makes them fall in love with him, the sheriff’s office said. After building romantic relationships, Lauser then allegedly scams the women for large sums of money. Detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify Lauser (pictured above).
