Henrico Police arrest 18-year-old in connection with shooting death of 30-year-old in Highland Springs
Henrico Police officials have arrested an 18-year-old man in connection to the shooting death of a 30-year-old man Sunday in Highland Springs. Troy Vincent Charran Jr. has been charged with second-degree murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony in the shooting death of James Lawitz of Henrico. The shooting was reported at about 11:36 a.m. in the 100 block of South Cedar Avenue. Officers who responded found Lawitz dead in the side yard of a home.
