Virginia DMV officials highlight 'Brake Safety Week'

Virginia motorists should take note of the importance of maintaining their vehicle's braking systems during the upcoming Brake Safety Week (Aug. 25-31), according to Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles officials, who reported that there were 5,785 crashes involving commercial motor vehicles in 2023, with 65 of those vehicles having defective brakes.
