JRA to host Atlantic sturgeon-viewing outings on the James River in September
Registration for the "Great Return of the Atlantic Sturgeon," a series of outings on a pontoon boat on the James River to view the prehistoric fish as they make their fall spawning migration, is now open. The trips are sponsored by the James River Association and cost per person for people ages 12 and older. (Children younger than 12 are not permitted.) Trips will depart from Osborne Park and Boat Landing at 10 a.m. and noon on Sept. 14, 15, 21 and 22.
