Henrico Fire promotes 29 officials

The Henrico Division of Fire celebrated 29 member promotions during a ceremony at J.R. Tucker High School Aug. 1, elevating two people to the role of assistant chief, two others to battalion chiefs, 11 to captains and 13 to lieutenants. One civilian also was promoted. “Not only have these 29 individuals committed their careers to serving others,” said Henrico Fire Chief Jackson Baynard, “they’ve challenged themselves to become great leaders and mentors.
