Amaryllis Studios will present “Chess, The Musical: A Staged Concert” at 7:30 p.m. July 26-27 at J.R. Tucker High School, 2910 North Parham Road. Though this Cold War-era musical has chess at the center of it, the ancient game starts to mirror the real games being played by each character as they use one another as pawns to achieve their goals.
