Short Pump Ruritans honor first-responders, high school graduates

Three Henrico County first-responders, a local business owner and eight Henrico County high school graduates were honored at the Short Pump Ruritan Club's 2024 annual awards banquet June 25. The event was held at Kitchen 33 Restaurant in Glen Allen and attended by more than 50 members and guests. The club presented its 2024 Firefighter of the Year Award to Henrico Fire Lt. Brian Morgan, its 2024 Police Officer of the Year Award to Henrico Police Officer Sara Sizemore and its 2024 Sheriff's Deputy of the Year Award to Nicholas Hayes of the Henrico County Sheriff's Department.
