Virginia's job openings rate increases
Virginia’s job openings rate rose in April 2024 to 6.3%, up from 5.4% in March, according to the latest data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics’ April 2024 Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey. The seasonally adjusted data for April showe a net increase of 4,000 hires in Virginia over the month with a 6% increase compared to five years earlier.
