NOVA of Aquatics swimmer Swanson qualifies for Olympics
Charlie Swanson, a Richmond native who swam for Henrico-based NOVA of Virginia Aquatics, earned a spot on the 2024 US Olympic men's swimming team during the US Olympic Team Trials qualifying competition in Indianapolis, Indiana. Swanson qualified in the 100-meter breaststroke event, establishing a personal-best time of 59.16. The 2024 Olympic Games will be held next month in Paris.
