Traffic delays expected on Francistown Road as permanent roundabout installation begins June 24

Construction of a permanent roundabout on Francistown Road in front of Hungary Creek Middle School will begin Monday, June 24 and is expected to affect traffic in the area through mid-July, according to Henrico County officials. The roundabout will replace a temporary one that was installed in April. A student was struck by a car and injured at the site in November while attempting to cross Francistown Road after school; the student was in the crosswalk at the time.
