Human trafficking-awareness event planned June 27 in Henrico

To raise awareness about the prevalence of human trafficking in Henrico County and what steps can be taken to prevent it, three community organizations are hosting a forum about the topic June 27 in Eastern Henrico. The forum, sponsored by Youth Impact, Free Kind, and Henrico Too Smart 2 Start Coalition, will begin with a viewing of the 15-minute film “Groomed,” which is based upon the real-life experiences of a local Virginian.
