LWV launches fact-checking website to combat election misinformation
The League of Women Voters of Virginia has launched a fact-checking website to help combat the spread of misinformation ahead of the general election. The new website, which was developed in partnership with VerbaAI, will use artificial intelligence to identify political statements and then check them against known and trusted sources such as Snopes, PolitiFact, LeadStories, and Fact Check.org.
