Virginia ABC accepting applications for youth alcohol and drug prevention program

The Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control Authority is now accepting applications for the Youth Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention Project, a peer leadership training program for student leaders. The program is open to high school students and adult sponsors who are committed to prevention of substance use. The program will kick off with a two-day conference at Christopher Newport University in Newport News July 22-26. Each team of four students apiece requires one adult sponsor.
